Life Sciences Library
The Life Sciences Library, on the Suita Campus, was opened in 1992 to house works in the bioscience fields such as medicine and biology, and has a core role in the provision of academic information in these fields. Since 1977, it has taken a role as a National Center for Overseas Periodicals (NCOP) for the fields of medicine and biology to act as a national base for the collection and provision of overseas journals in these fields. It currently holds some 17,000 journal titles, and continues to build its collection of some 1,400 overseas journals.
