Style Manuals

Instructions to authors define bibliography style of reeferences. Styles listed below are major in medicine, dentistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Psychology, etc.

Vancouver Style

In 1978 editors of sholarly journals in the area of medicine and life sciences came together and held a meeting. As a result of this meeting, they announced a recommendation about the unified Instructions for Authors in 1979. ICMJE(International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) have checked and revised this Instructions for Authors. The current version is 2008 version.
Major medical journals follow this style.
