On library hours in the case of a weather warning being issued (for typhoon approaching)

In the case of a “storm warning” [boufuu-keihou] or “emergency warning” [tokubetsu-keihou] being issued for Toyonaka, Suita, Ibaraki, and/or Minoh, all OU-Libraries will be closed.

※On 24 hours open of the Global Commons in Main library, if the weather condition may go worth, we will probably stop it in spite of no weather warning being issued.

 If a weather warning is issued when libraries are open,

We will close all libraries as soon as possible.

 If a weather warning is issued before libraries are open,

Library hours depend on when a weather warning is called off as below.

  1. Mon. – Fri.(in session period)
  2. If a weather warning is called off Library hours
    By 6:00 Open as usual
    By 9:00 Open at 12:00
    By 12:00 Open at 15:00
    By 15:00 Open at 18:00
  3. Monday – Friday(NOT in session period)
  4. If a weather warning is called off Library hours
    By 6:00 Open as usual
    By 9:00 Open at 12:00
    By 12:00 Open at 15:00 (Main library and Life Sciences library)
    By 15:00 Open at 18:00 (Life Sciences library only)
  5. Saturday and Sunday
  6. If a weather warning is called off Library hours
    By 6:00 Open as usual
    By 9:00 Open at 12:00
    By 12:00 Open at 15:00 (Main library and Science and Engineering library, only in session period)
  7. National holidays
  8. If a weather warning is called off Library hours
    By 6:00 Open as usual
    By 9:00 Open at 12:00

※On clearing a weather warning, we will check broadcast on the radio, TV, and internet.
