Osaka University Library has a variety of Learning spaces such as Private Study Rooms, Group Study Rooms, Learning Commons and Global Commons etc.

Private Study Rooms

These are rooms for individual use.

You can reserve these rooms in Main Library and Life Sciences Library through Web Service.

Group Study Rooms

These are rooms for 3 persons or more.

These are spaces for group discussions, Using PCs and so on.

Global Commons

This is group study space for comprehension of multiple languages and multiple cultures.

Equipped with world news viewing system, electronic blackboards and presentation system etc., you can do a variety of activities.

AV Library, AV Commons

You can watch audio-visual materials alone or with friends.

These are on the fourth floor of International Studies Library.

Can I access to the Internet with my laptop PC in Library?

Students, faculty and staff can use the university wireless networks with your Osaka University personal ID.
For details on how to connect, please refer to ODINS website (*Japanese text only).
Alumni and visitors cannot use the network. However, in the International Studies Library, open wireless network provided by Minoh City Library is available.
